Did you ever think? Did you ever stop to wonder what you're doing now? No, you don't ever think. You've been caught and never ever can repeal it now I can never lose (Chorus) Don't you dare bare false witness I will take my Thousand Men and shame you, shame you, shame you Sing a song of sixpence Sing a song of sixpence for me Sing a song of sixpence for me, baby, baby Sing a song of sixpence Sing a song of sixpence for me, baby, baby I can never lose (Chorus) Don't you dare bare false witness I will take my Thousand Men and shame you, shame you,  Don't you bring me to distress I will take my Thousand Men and break you, break you, break you! Strangeland 05:11
Hello hello Hello hello Running from the pain Running in the rain Finding out the necessary evils through there gain Finding out the truth written in their blues Awkward silences diminishing true faith (Chorus) Then the Peacemaker says hello, hello Captured any virgins? Then the Peacemaker says mellow, mellow Was it really worth it? Are they all insane All we know is blame De-sensitize humanity with war video games Believing main-line truth And all that they abuse To signify we're caught up in their dark and twisted rouse (Chorus) Then the Peacemaker says hello, hello Captured any virgins? Then the Peacemaker says mellow, mellow Was it really worth it? Then the Peacemaker says hello, hello Captured any virgins? Then the Peacemaker says mellow, mellow Was it really worth it? All of it is lies We cry out alibis Make no mistake we're guilty of their mad and vengeful crimes So it goes on and on Do we wake up and yawn To sacrifice our future  And take on this brand new dawn (Chorus) Then the Peacemaker says hello, hello Captured any virgins? Then the Peacemaker says mellow, mellow Was it really worth it? Then the Peacemaker says hello, hello Captured any virgins? Then the Peacemaker says mellow, mellow Was it really worth it? Because we're living in a Because we're living in a Because we're living in a STRANGELAND I'M RUNNING FROM A STRANGELAND I'M GOING ROUND IN CIRCLES WHERE DO I BELONG? STRANGELAND I'M RUNNING TO A STRANGELAND I'M GOING ROUND IN CIRCLES WHERE DO I BELONG? STRANGELAND I'M RUNNING FROM A STRANGELAND I'M GOING ROUND IN CIRCLES WHERE DO I BELONG? STRANGELAND I'M RUNNING TO A STRANGELAND I'M GOING ROUND IN CIRCLES WHERE DO I BELONG?

What We Know 05:34
I often wonder why we're here I often wonder what we're doing here And in my dreams I disappear Into a place where there is trouble and fear But in reality, we're great Only to be consumed by greed and hate To me the choice is very clear That we must overcome our hatred and fear We can transcend so many planes But we fall victim to the ego that trains our minds Mind, Spirit, Heart and Consciousness Bears fruit for all if we are still and silent I hope that what shall come to pass That we can overcome our egos at last If we can see we're all the same Then we deserve the fate of whatever remains (Chorus)                                       (counter) Going down slow                          It feels wrong From what we know                     Back in time Hurts to show                               It feels wrong From what we know                     No No Can we learn to live together as one, as one? (x4)

Secure Love 03:48
Forever I'm waiting this love I'm forsaking Is all to do with your love I've had all protection, fed up of rejection Is all to do with my love Simmer down boy don't you throw me your toys It isn't my fault You hit on one another but you're running for cover It isn't my fault (Chorus) Shoot me down I'm running from secure love Shoot me down I'm running from secure love Pay no attention, but give me affection I'm screaming from the green light You're running for cover, I tell you I love you 'Cause you know that it don't feel right Patience is a virtue they tell you at school But this ain't working You're crying out wanting just to change the rules 'Cause this ain't working (Chorus) Shoot me down I'm running from secure love Shoot me down I'm running from secure love Shoot me down I'm running from secure love Shoot me down I'm running from secure love

No 05:18
Did anybody notice? Could we change it? Even cry when it all fell apart? Trying to find it, could we grasp it again? Or would it disappear like a mirage? Tell me, did you ever wonder, what it was like to feel the rain fall on your skin And did anybody tell you, what it was like to knock and no one let you in (chorus) Knock knock, door, door Ain't nobody here no more Wanna check this out, then listen to me I'm not playing any silly games You grow up, but never change I've decided I'm not letting you in No, No, No No, No, No Everybody's changing, are we superficial? But does the nucleus remain the same? The bitterness of power Just release all the fear Feeling alone with all your personal gain Tell me, did you ever wonder, what it was like to feel the rain fall on your skin And did anybody tell you, what it was like to knock and no one let you in (chorus) Knock knock, door, door Ain't nobody here no more Wanna check this out, then listen to me I'm not playing any silly games You grow up, but never change I've decided I'm not letting you in No, No, No No, No, No (chorus) Knock knock, door, door Ain't nobody here no more Wanna check this out, then listen to me I'm not playing any silly games You grow up, but never change I've decided I'm not letting you in Foolish heart, not torn apart  Break the spell, upset my cart Free to live my life and let it be Thought it was unconditional Made it plain that we were not special I jumped off my ride, now destined to me! No, No, No No, No, No.

about

Newborn State is the debut album by East London based singer song writer Rokamé and his producer Mighty Magnitude.
These two well traveled musicians have spent the past year locked in the studio away from all the outside madness. They have been reflecting on their journeys in life and trying to make sense of it all.

“I suppose the album came out of me looking at the world at the moment, and wondering where the hell it’s all going to end up...in some dystopia or worse, self destruction, or are we going to take a quantum leap into a new state of being, a world based on the more positive aspects of what it is to be human?  Some of the tracks delve into my own personal past history...and so it’s also an album exploring where I’m going now, in my life, the choices that stand before me and what I want to do, which path to follow now. Maybe it's a message to myself and the world....what I don’t want for us humans, myself included and what I hope for us all.”

“ So it’s music for everyone’’ says Rokamé....not targeted to any group in particular, but listening to it all back now, I feel it’s for the mature, the deep, the thinker, the feeler, the carer, the frustrated and hopeful...It’s an album of substance for people of substance....and it’s just the beginning.” The new lyrics are bubbling over, the tunes invading the dreaming space....the next album is knocking on the door. “Hold your horses . We got to get these songs on the road, man,  play some gigs in London, around the country and why not outside the UK!....let’s give ‘New Born State” a good send off into the world, before we lock ourselves into the room@Magnitude 71 for another year’ laughs Rokamé.

“Oh I need to thank some people too........I’d like to acknowledge, Toki aka Mighty-Magnitude from Mighty Bear Hugs, because without his input, none of this would have been possible! Robbie Taylor from Mighty Bear Hugs, my partner, Jim, my mother, Evelyn, and Miwa T. for a banter and Video edits.

I’d also like to thank Karl Wood (karlwood.info) & Antonio De Campos (www.antoniodecampos.com) for their exquisite work on my logo and Artwork.

about

Rokamé London, UK

Throughout my many years of experience within the kaleidoscopic world of music, where I began my vocal training within opera, and later joining punk, funk, jazz and pop bands and learning the more formal art of stage craft within the west end musical theatre community, I have fused these experiences to create the sound of RoKaMé.

Sit back, listen and DANCE!

Yours sincerely,

RoKaMé
